Born to the Uthgardt barbarians of the far North, Uta grew up amongst rough men and professional raiders. Women among the Uthgardt typically are expected to be independant and capable of taking care of themselves, but subserviant to the warrior culture of men, and most often they have a secondary role in their society -- however, after several poor seasons of raiding where many of her tribe's men were slain, Uta and many other women were left to fend for themselves for several years. When another tribe of barbarians pushed into her people's land, Uta's people were displaced and left without means; and being proud, rather then be taken as slaves -- her people fled. 

   Though Uta and other refugees remained together for years, it was ultimately Uta's choice to marry a man of Llorkh; a hedge-knight and sell-sword which seperated her from her people. Uta and her husband were happily married for over six years, though without children. Ultimately, when her husband died of an extended sickness, Uta was once again forced to fend for herself.

    Uta has been a sell-sword and adventurer for a several years now, and her experiences with death and tragedy have left her as a cautious and solumn woman whom rarely laughs. Though she pretends to pride, Uta is not easily offended and is fiercely loyal to those whom earn her trust. Given the sheer amount of personal loss in her life, she is often quite possessive of her lovers and has difficulty with ending relationships.

    At her core? Uta is a strong woman whom has given up or lost everything to survive, and desperately seeks for a purpose and security that has evaded her for the whole of her life.

Powers and Abilities:

Uta is a defensive fighter who utilizes a strong, iron-bound oak shield and a short sword. She sometimes throws knives and has some experience with a bow. Uta also frequently carries a healing potion.
