   The Viscountess of Rosehand is a paladin of Sune, The Goddess of Love, Beauty & Courtly Romance. Gwendlyne, or 'Gwen' as she is called by her peers, adores all things beautiful from art to poetry, sculpture, dance and song. One thing that Gwendolyne however does not appreciate is the practice of slavery in the city of birth, and the way her peers turn a blind eye to the abduction and enslavement of women from other cities, lands and places to be sold as slaves in Llorkh's markets.

   Gwendolyne's family while only minor nobility, the holdings of her family having fallen into ruin durring their absence, having taken Gwendolyne and traveled to another city in protest when laws allowing the trade of slaves passed durring her childhood.

   Lady Gwendolyne's Crusade was tireless, as if personal and though the woman's title protects her somewhat from clandestine action against her, many nobles and several of the local merchants becameunsettled by her prying into their elicite affairs and dragging of their dealings into the public eye for scrutiny. The paladin's crusade is was personal, as it was not shortly after her return to the city of Llorkh that Gwendolyne herself had been abducted by the half-drow slaver 'Mistress Jezebel'; spending nearly three months suffering an erotic nightmare at her hands.

   While Jezebel was eventually branded an outlaw for her actions, and years later, arrested - Gwendolyne woke often at night, startled by the persistent, sensual nightmares inspired by Jezebel's dominance and it always had a lasting impact on Gwendolyne's love and sexuality for the rest of her unusually long and adventurous life.
